Esterházy artist labels take to the sky in KLM’s business class
In cooperation with the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, the Dutch airline KLM has introduced a special collection: an international series of wines, labelled with reproductions of famous paintings. From Esterházy, the Estoras Grüner Veltliner was chosen as an ambassador typical of Austria, its label decorated by the image of Cäser Boëtius van Everdingen’s Meisje met een Brede Hoed (Girl in a Large Hat).
Along with Esterházy, four other wine estates were selected for the KLM series: Masi from Italy, Bodegas Norton from Argentina, Abbots & Delaunay from France and Boschendal from South Africa. These wines will be served to complement KLM’s custom-created menus during the months of May and June.
