Vinification
Selected grapes are fermented at 22° Celsius in used 500-litre casks where they are kept on the full lees for 9 months. The yeast is stirred regularly during the first 2 months. This gives the wine its fine, full body.
Tasting note
Medium straw yellow, very bright aromas of pear and white peach on the nose, along with subtle acacia honey and slightly smoky notes. On the palate, a juicy, taut acidity that provides freshness and is embedded in a creamy, full body.
As a food companion, Pinot Blanc is considered to be universally applicable due to its rather neutral varietal character. The slightly smoky notes and the taut acidity also predestine it for more strongly spiced dishes such as curries or light game dishes.
