Estoras - Blaufränkisch
The grapes were crushed and fermented rather cool at 20 to 26 degrees Celsius in steel tanks. Extraction was very gentle, with only flooding, in order to extract only the fine tannins. After 14 days, the wine was pressed and matured for 12 months in used 500-litre barrels.
Intense purple red. Lots of fresh fruit on the palate, blackberry, sour cherry and rosehip. In addition, there are violets and black pepper, which makes this Blaufränkisch so varietal. The fresh acidity and the supporting, fine tannin give the wine a powerful structure and a wonderful drinking flow.
This Blaufränkisch lives from its fresh fruit and spice. This makes it the ideal companion for many meat dishes, especially grilled dishes such as sausages, chops or spare ribs.
